It is truly a sad day for the fashion world, we have lost one of the greatest visionaries of our time. The brilliant British fashion designer, Lee Alexander McQueen, was found dead at his London home this morning and reports are swarming that he committed suicide (it is speculated that his tragic death was due to the difficulty of dealing with his mother's passing last week). The avant-garde designer has produced some of the most extravagant and outlandish garments we've seen in the last century and was set to show his latest collection in March at Paris Fashion Week. This is a tribute to the man who was named "British Designer of the Year" on four separate occasions and received fame as the head designer for Givenchy, before launching his own labels Alexander McQueen and McQ.
