MAC CONQUERS NY FASHION WEEK MAKEUP

MAC has always been know for its prestige in the fashion industry and nothing proved this more then the number of designers who chose MAC to do the makeup for their fall runway shows. With the brand's versatile products and ability to create just about anything, it was not a difficult task to create looks for over ten different shows. Here are just some highlights of the makeup looks being shown this season the the runaways of New York Fashion Week.

Makeup is so essential to the overall look and styling of a fashion show. In order to create the desired effect, every little detail on each model has to be perfect. The makeup itself can add so much depth to an outfit, helping to express the designers' vision even further. MAC has always been amazing at creating and expressing a certain idea through the use of makeup that there is no wonder as to why so many designers chose them for their shows.

Answer: NOTHING!!!!

But, unfortunately UC Davis is not available on Victoria's Secret.

YET there are Universities that include Berkeley, Harvard, Florida, UCLA, and USC.

What the... ?! That's pretty lame. I personally think that UC Davis is one of the top UC's in the universe and I want UCD displayed on my Victoria's Secret attire.

So help me, help you, help the world. Spread the word because we know that Davis can be sexy. I was appalled, and shocked to find that Davis was not on the list of schools in the Exclusive Pink Collegiate Collection.

CHANEL LAUNCHES A TATTOO LINE

The highly coveted Chanel temporary tattoos seen during the Spring/Summer 2010 runway show are finally available for sale. Les Trompe L'oeil de Chanel Temporary Skin Art comes in a set of 55 designs for $75, doesn't the name alone entice you? Although they are not as cheap as the $1 butterfly and snake temps you find at the bowling alley, you get to wear one of the most recognizable brands for a couple of weeks and for the sake of Chanel, it just might be worth it.

ISABEL MASTACHE 2010 FALL COLLECTION

Isabel Mastache, a Spanish avant garde designer, just launched her 2010 Fall Collection at Madrid's fashion week. Her interesting designs really push art and fashion to the next level. The line includes a cabbage head piece, a sweater shaped to look like a bunny, garments with multiple arms, origami inspired pieces, and some other designs that are pretty outrageous...just take a look for yourself!

They will be able to meet with great contacts to network and find jobs and internships in New York. So please come out and support UC Davis student talent, as well as designers from FIDM LA, Sac State, American River colleges, and even local high schools. Don't forget to join us for our after party to mix and mingle with the designers, models, and the hard working students who brought you FASHIONATION!
