When it is needed most, retail therapy can be a little limited while here in Davis. Target, Costco, Five Figs Couture, Riki, and Pinkadot are always great choices, but sometimes a new selection or a new environment would fair a girl (especially one who browses these stores every other day) well. Arden Fair Mall and Roseville Galleria also tend to be too far for someone who just wants immediate satisfaction. The solution? Downtown Sacramento is a treasure trove of boutiques. Not only is it a fifteen minute drive over the Causeway, it is also a completely new world waiting to be explored. Our state's capital is full of history, culture, and clothes! So the next time you're in a slump over a really hard midterm (which I'm sure you did fine in), your significant other breaks your heart, or you're just in that mood to spice up your closet, hit up a friend and make that trip over to Downtown Sac to let your wallets do their bidding.
