image source: perry sanesanongOn April 14, 2010, UC Davis had the honor of attending Mayer Hawthorne's performance in Freeborn Hall along with rising band Passion Pit. I had the pleasure to meet and talk to Mayer Hawthorne, and instantly deemed him as a "cool guy". No one knows who he really is, but he made a big impression on stage with his voice, swag, and sense of style. Being front row, I was able to see his clothes up close and personal as he rocked thick framed glasses, red Nike Jordans, a bright red LRG cardigan, and a LRG jacket. I later found out he is sponsored by LRG, and you can find out more about the company here. Mayer Hawthorne's keen sense of style will get him far as a musician so look out for him!
